Greetings, This is a branch of the family I haven't been able to find. Posting just in case anyone recognizes them. Frank George and Edith Mary were the children of 1858 Henry Frank MEERE and 1858 Kate Emily THOMPSON (first cousins; m 1882 Ladywood ). 1858-1887 Henry was a brother of my Orlando John MEERE. Henry Frank died 1887; Kate Emily m. 1845 Frederick William GELL in 1898; Frederick Wm died 1923; have not found Kate's death. 1891 Census *Widow Kate 33 Head of household at Hazelwell Halls, Kings Norton *Son 1882 Frank is a scholar, at the home of his grandmother, MaryAnn MEERE, 70 Pershore Road, Selly Oak (he is later named in her 1898 will) *Daughter 1885 Edith is a nurse child in the home of the WILKINSON family in Ladywood 1901 Census *Kate, 2nd husband Frederick GELL, and daughter Edith (as Ada): 20 Poplar Road Kings Norton *Son Frank G. MEERE is 18, a boarder in Aston, Occ Railway Engine Cleaner 1911 Census *Kate and Frederick GELL (cabinet maker, upholsterer) are still at 20 Poplar Road, (Kings Heath) *Edith and Thomas CLEMENTS (GPO Clerk, Engineering Dept) are married less than a year, at 156 Taylor Rd, King's Heath. No CLEMENTS births found with mother nee MEERE; no recognizable death and/or remarriage, etc. *Can't find Frank George MEERE anywhere.
