Apologies John I have tried to check out the freecensus website - only returns I get (1851 only one anything turned up for) for the "Union Passage" address don't include J Norris. Tried searching on "J Norris" but didn't manage to get any in Union Passage. Will check out the directories and see what I can find. Thanks for your suggestions. Cheers Karen

Karen, Regarding the use of the Directory site for the Norris photographer - You will find he was listed in a directory in 1862. Search " Norris w/10 Union " [i.e. looking for the two words within ten words of each other] and there are plenty of hits - some of course will be incorrect!! John
