    3. Hi! Anne, Thanks for your email. I have all the information for the wedding , I am trying to go back another generation and find the parents of both these couples especially Henry Hancock. This my brick wall on the family. 3. Hi Bill I suspect Anne was as mystified as I was ;-} Your post said :- >My GGrandfather Henry Hancock married Esther Hammersley (father Robert >Hammersley mother Esther Randall ) on 2nd April 1882. >If anyone can help with information on this it would be greatly >appreciated. >Regards >Bill Hancock With no reference to you what you actually wanted, it sounded like you wanted the details of the marriage So I suggest starting again If you have the marriage cert what was the name and occupation of Henry HANCOCKs father ? What were the ages of the couple Who were the witnesses Have you found them in later census and if so what is the census page ref With a bit more information we can probably help you but it does help to say what you seek Nivard Ovington in Cornwall (UK) > Hi! 3. The I.G.I. reference that I quoted earlier about Esther HAMMERSLEY looks like a probable for her 1863 birth & christening in Bedworth. There is a "FreeBMD" entry that confirms her birth in June Q 1863. If you order that certificate you will have her parents names. Henry HANCOCK is a more common name so we would need the father's name from his Marriage Certificate to sort him out from the several Henry HANCOCK births. 3. N.B. HANCOCK was also spelled HANCOX. Have just had a look at I.G.I. and realised the alternative spelling. Do you know where he was on 1881 Census which should give you his birthplace and, if you are lucky, his relations?
