Hello Thank you all for the replies may have to give it a miss, which frustrating as I have a Henry Butler born about 1555 died 1625 Thurlaston. There is an entry for a Henry Butler 1629 vacat but has no place name. I did send away awhile go to the Lichfield Record Office for probate results for Butler 1585-1635 there is no Henry Butler for that date . Thank you again Jeff

Thurlaston in Leicestershire? Wouldn't a will from there be in the Leicester archdeaconry records, at Leicester RO?
