The top three floors of the library are now reduced to three day opening (Weds, Thurs, Fri) and I believe the archives are running an appointment system to be sure to book ahead if you want to go. I believe that the self-service microfilm service will still continue after the 23rd but I do not know how long for as I am sure that there will come a time when those also need to be transported to their new home. As I walked from the car park to the library I noticed that the new library has soared impressively out of the ground since my last visit, but it will still take a while for things to be sorted out - the opening date is currently set as being 3rd September 2013.
