In response to the message below, thanks for your reply, Matt. I tried these steps and still got only an article about the map, not the map itself. I also encountered a new problem. I was not supplied with a field that let me log in again as a member of the general public. It only offers me the link to "Login via UK federation", which lists colleges, etc. I suspect that my problem is that I am trying to do this from California. I know it's possible to fake an IP address, but I'd really rather not. I looked at the link for non-UK residents, but I didn't find anything helpful about logging in and it said nothing about excluding old maps. Is there anyone on this list that can access it from outside the UK? Is there not a box with a link saying 'Download/Order'? That appears twice on the page I get if I follow the instructions below, at top and bottom. If you click on that link it will ask you to log in, which you can't do unless you have first registered. But that page also contains several links that explain how to register. When you get to the 'How to Access Data' page you'll see that it is possible for people who don't belong to a UK tertiary education institution to register. You have to apply, I think explaining why you want the data, but as far as I'm aware they're pretty generous about who is allowed to register. Hello all I haven't tried the system below. A couple of years ago I attempted to purchase the CD set - not for me but for use where I am a volunteer indexer - it would be oh so useful. The University replied, explaining that the copyright owners had moved to another establishment. That all applications had to be passed to them. And warned that I probably would not have any reply. She was correct. I am aware that at least one other on this List had a similar experience. Being somewhat cynical, I am not surprised that Eileen is finding access problematical.
