Could this be the Evelyn BAKER who married Albert JOHNSON? There was also a Donald JOHNSON whose birth was registered in the June qtr 1940 at Birmingham reg district, mother's maiden name BAKER. The nickname Ebby would seem to fit in more with Evelyn than with Agnes, wouldn't it, but then it is a question of trying to fit in this family with your husband's family which is more difficult! I can only find one Agnes BAKER in the 1911 census of Warwickshire and this is the daughter of Alfred & Annie BAKER - your family. There is a marriage registration for an Agnes BAKER at Birmingham North reg distict in the December qtr 1926 to a Frederick CLEATON but they only seem to have had one daughter, Margaret A, whose birth was registered at Birmingham in the March qtr 1941 which is a long time after the marriage before their first child was born. You can find her marriage registration on the GRO in 1963. I then pick up a death registration for an Agnes CLAYTON at Birmingham in the June qtr 1948, aged 42 which would fit in with the birth date of your Agnes BAKER. There are several death registrations for a Frederick CLAYTON (none spelled CLEATON) in Birmingham. Not sure whether this helps or makes things more difficult for you. Let me know what you think.
