Hello everyone, Some years ago I was told by an avid researcher that Humphrey Harper born Sept 28, 1698 married twice and had 3 children. I found that he married Sarah Smith in 1731......but have not found the 2nd wife nor a 3rd child. His oldest child Humphrey Harper born ? was a Professional soldier. In 1767 he was in India....... I have no more info for him. Does anyone else have info for this family? Kind Regards Carol

Carol, British forces in India are available from a site on the internet. My rellie was there in the 1870's. Got the birth certificate for his son. I put into site search. British Soldiers in India. Have a go.
