Those interested in Birmingham in the late 1950s and early 1960s may be interested in a new "Images of Birmingham" feature just added to my website. I have made available my collection of 210 photographs of Birmingham, mostly from the '50s and '60s. All the photos are originals and have never before been accessible to the public. The photos were scanned mainly from 35mm colour and black and white transparencies, supplemented by scans of colour and black and white prints, and negatives. Each photo is dated, and accompanied by an informative caption. Click on the "Images of Birmingham" link on my homepage at http://www.jlb2011.co.uk/ I'd be interested to hear your comments. John Interesting history of redevelopment. Amazing how few foreign made cars in photos - I found a VW Beetle, VW bus and possibly a Volvo saloon !
