    3. Hello Ann, You could try the Commonwealth War Graves Commission http://www.cwgc.org/ you can search for casualties who died in Libya in the Second World War and came from Coventry. The search I have made comes up with the following. Do any of the names look familiar ???     3. My father in law was reported "missing" in North Africa in 1942. I eventually found his grave in a War Cemetery in Naples. I presume he was captured and transferred to a prison camp or prison hospital in Italy where he died. Eventually he was buried in the War Cemetery. The North African campaign was a "to & fro" affair until the 2nd Battle of El Alamein so you may need to pursue several enquiry routes.
