Edith Annie Gilkes was born in Coventry in 1903. According to the 1911 census, she lived in Lockhurst Lane, Coventry with her brother and parents, Mary Jane and Herbert Gilkes. Although I have further information on the lives of the other three family members, I can find nothing more on Edith. No records of either her marriage or death have come to light. There is a possibility that she may have emigrated [to Canada(?)], but I have no access to emigration lists. Any assistance in finding more details of Edith's life would be greatly appreciated.
