He came to Milne Bay, Papua New Guinea in the late 1880's 90's, could've been prior but am just guessing. He came here as a Miner during the Gold Rush with miners from Australia. We'd like to know very much if he returned to Australia and in what particular year and if he died and was buried there. We have many stories here of people saying he died here but there is no burial site. He had children here in Milne Bay with a local woman, the Eldest was my Grand Father who is named after him. My grandfather was born in 1912. We are very much interested in sharing our history with you and to know if this William Warren is our line too. He never told my grandfather much and I guess it's because he wasn't around for long and the kids grew up with the locals here.
