Thanks to those who responded to my enquiry about the 1902 Warren book. You have been most helpful and generous. My new search now is for an account of the Warrenstown Warrens in Ireland, which author Rev Thomas Warren says are 'respectable and ancient' there. I would like to correspond with anyone who has worked these out - from about 1700 back, apparently to the 1154 reign of Henry II. I will look in the gen-medieval list archives too.
