My oldest know WARREN is my elusive ROBERT WARREN born c1830 in Inverness Shire Scotland. ROBERT came to Australia c1850 probably looking for GOLD like everyone else and settled in Ballarat Victoria. His Father was DUNCAN WARREN (guess that makes him my oldest) and I know nothing more about this family. Is there anyone out there with WARREN connections back to Inverness? My oldest Warren is George Warren who married Mary Younge on 29th June 1626 at Irthlingborough, Northamptonshire, England. They had six children: George, born 1627 Ann, born 1629 Richard, born 1632 Mary, born 1635 John, born 1637 William, born 1641 Rick -------------- Rick Edmondson rick@hunter.co.uk

Donna in Queensland, yes there are more of us in Aus working on the WARREN name, you are not alone. I located a distant cousin in Melbourne on this list. We are meeting next week to compare notes. Unfortunately Warrens seem to be widespread, ours come from Cornwall, other end of the UK, but who knows.
