Whatever it might be, I cannot find it ! Perhaps you felt that the various recent letters bemoaning alleged lack of y-DNA results from Britain might stimulate me in some way ! I have certainly "done my bit" in stimulating formerly unknown cousins in Britain, Australia and Trinidad to be tested by FTDNA and those who are interested are welcome to view the results of five of us under the grouping of Marnhull, Dorset, UK. Our documentary trail is proven to about 1520 and we are now in a position to hypothesise more ancient roots, upon which we are working collectively. There is absolutely no point in stimulating our siblings or offspring to be DNA profiled (we are certain of the fidelity of their parents) but I have suggested to several unrelated Warrens that they might be tested, particularly if they had any belief that they might have descended from the Poynton Warrens (which I am certain that the Marnhull Warrens are NOT !) This was a very sloppy assumption by the Rev.Thos.Warren in his Warren History and Genealogy - but as the saying goes, "Even Homer nods ! " Yours aye, A.
