The Jentry comes from his mothers' line (Gentry/Jentry). She is a relative of Nancy Gentry who married William Anderson in 1809 Barren Co. Ky. She was half Cherokee and other then that we have no info on her or her husband Jeptha West. If you should ever come across a West/Gentry/Jentry connection let me know. Thanks Mary Esther
