"De Warenne" was the name used this family from before the time of William the Conqueror (invaded England from France in 1066). By 1565, the family name had been changed to "WARREN". Is it possible that you mixed the name with the wrong date? There were a number of William De Warennes, but they lived much earlier. If you have any of his descendants or other associated dates or wife, etc, it might help one of us pin him down for you. Tom Burch
