She died September 3, 1886. Their children were Anna R, born Manchester, NH, November 30, 1861, married Willard M. Lindsey; Charles Varnum, born Marlboro, January 16, 1863, died young; James M., born Framingham July 16, 1865; George Edwin, born September 1, 1867, died February 8, 1887; Hattie Florence, born December 5, 1868; Jennie Dillingham, born April 1, 1871; Lucy Ella, born November 15, 1872; Sarah Varnum, born March 15, 1875; Charles Dana, born February 15, 1877; Martha T., born December 25, 1878; Jessie T., born July 1, 1881; Josiah Samuel, born July 27, 1883, married Alice Mary Noonan; Wesley, born February 13, 1885, married Catherine McClellan.
