WARREN b. 20 May 1883 d. 22 July 1954 Rusk Co. TX m.ca. 1905 Wylie Lee BOYD b.15 Sept 1884 AL d. 7 Jan 1966 Rusk Co. TX.'Lee' as he was called, was the son of John R. Boyd b. Jan 1852 GA and his wife Mary H. Boyd b. Sept 1842 AL who were farming in 1900 in Lost Creek, Cleburne Co. AL and at that time stated they had had 8 children, 8 living. In 1910 Wylie 'Lee' Boyd and 'Vicie' (Warren) Boyd, as well as his parents and brothers, were now living and farming in Roopville, Carroll Co GA. Lee and Vicie Boyd had at that time two children (Henry J and Myrtle L Boyd). In 1920 'Vicie' and 'Lee' Boyd were still in Roopville, Carroll Co. GA and farming beside Sherrod and Lavisie Mahala (Hester) Warren who were now 69 and 65 years old and had only one son still living at home (Ben Brittain). 'Lee and Vicie' had had another child (Effie M). By April 5, 1930 Lee and Vicie (Warren) Boyd had moved down to Henderson, Rusk Co. TX where other Warren relatives were liv! ing. In the 1930 Rusk Co census they had only Effie, age 11 still living at home. They had living with them for a long time Vicie's brother Uriah George Warren's son (her nephew), Alvyl Hoit Warren, until he married a widow with children late in life. They are both buried in Mt. Pleasant Cem. Rusk Co. TX.'Vicie' and 'Lee' Boyd had 3 children: Henry John BOYD b. 1 Dec 1906 GA d. 16 July 1997 m. ca. 1924 Bessie H.__b.2 June 1907 d. 18 July 1978 Rusk Co GA. In the 1930 census they are both working as a waiter and waitress at the Texas State Sanitarium in Tom Green Co. TX. They stated they married at ages 18 and 17.
