I have an E. Pinkney Warren who was b. @ 1827 in GA. Married Mary S. Brown 1845. He died 1874 in GA. I have 6 children for this couple. Was Pinkney a name that was popular with the Warrens? Carolyn, All I can tell you is that there were a great number of Pinkney/Pinckney Warrens. Everywhere I typed in Erasmus Pinkney Warren I would pull up information on the Pinkney Family. Pinkney is a famous name in our history. Starting with the James Monroe-William Pinkney Treaty of 1806, however the Pinkney as a given name was used before that. The Pinkney as a given name shows up in various families', genealogy. I would love to read your information.
