Davis 66 married 46 Tempa 75 3/3 children Lonza 44 Shimboley Cemetery Tempy Davis (wife of CC) 2 Jul 1834-15 May 1915 Thursday, May 8, 1924 Zero community news: Mr. Cad Davis, an aged man of this section, died last Monday April 21. He is survived by 2 children. They are Mrs. W. S. Gibson, of Mt. Tabor and Lonzy Davis of this place. He was laid to rest the following day at Mt. Salem beside his wife who preceded him to the grave several years ago. In Nita Lutteral's book KY Skaggs, there is death notice for George Ann Pierce Elmore that said she was survived by brother Alonza Jarvis [Davis?] and one 1/2 sister Mrs. Richard Gibson. I had looked for him, but no luck. With Cad's obit she is listed as Mrs. W.S.>>>and found these so far: 1900 Hart KY William S. Gibson, 41, b. Feb 1859, m2 Betty, wife, 31, b. Oct 1868, m1, 8 years, 6/1 children Sarah N, dau, b. Jan 1895 John R., son, b. Mch 1890 Marion, son, b. Jan 1900, 4/12th [he is bur. Mt. Sherman also] 1910 Greene Co., IN W.S. Gibson 51, m2, 18yrs Betty, wife 41, m1, 18yrs, 10/2 children Ofina? A., dau 7 O_t_er, dau 4 a possible, but ages are off?: 1920 Larue KY Dick Gibson 53 Bettie 54 Annie, dau, 16 [could be Ofina A.?] Arthur, son 13 [could be O_t_er, listed a dau 1910?] Cecil, son, 10 Roy, son, 6 "a" Bettie Gibson, age 68, d. 9 Apr 1935 Ballard Co., KY cert. 17/8477 Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
