Searching for info proving the relationship of father Samuel Warren, b 12 Feb 1878 in VT or NY, d 23 Nov 1842 in MI , and his son Franklin F. Warren, b 18 Jan 1823 in NY, died 10 March 1900 in Clinton County, IA. The father's name varies, depending on the researcher: some say it is Emery Samuel Warren, others say it is only Samuel Warren. The confusing part is that there are several Emery Samuel Warren cousins in the family. His probate gives his name as Samuel. He was married in 1810 to Rebecca George. The probate copy is extremely difficult to read, and does not mention his children. Have been unable to locate obits for either Samuel or Franklin.
