Rec'd 5/23/2002: " Know all men by these Presents That I Timothy Warren of Hawley in the County of Franklin and Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Pensioner, being of sound disposing mind and memory, do make and publish this my Will and Testament. First, I give and bequeath to my sons Admiral and Amos one dollar each. Secondly, I give and bequeath to my daughters Lena, Rachel and Polly one dollar each said legacies to be paid within one year from my decease. Third, I give and bequeath to my daughter Lucy my wearing apparel, household furniture and all the personal estate of which I shall die possessed together with my pension on hand or to be drawn from the pension office. Fourth, I ordain and appoint Forest Cranson, the husband of my daughter Lucy, my sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament. For testimony whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal, and publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament in the presence of the witnesses named below, this fourth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty eight. his Timothy [X] Warren mark Signed, sealed, published and declared by the said Timothy Warren as and for his last Will and Testament in presence of us, who in his presence, and in the presence of each other, and at his request have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses. John Tobey [sig] David Vincent [sig] Thomas S Cranson [sig] " August 26, 1851 probate of will; scheduled to be heard in Charlemont on the 3rd Tusday of October next. October 21, 1851 Forest Cranson & John Tobey execute surety bond. February 3, 1852 Forest Cranson certified to Probate Court Judge George Grennell in Conway, that he placed notifications in two public places in Hawley, to wit, at Kelly's Store and Joy's Tavern, three weeks successively.
