My Warren family was in Lincoln County TN prior to moving to Pope County, IL. Prior to Lincoln County, they were in Nash County, NC. Eli's father is Willis Warren. There is another Warren researcher named Cindy Kinard who has worked on the NC end of this family. She nailed it down to Nash County. For what it's worth, I have to assume that my Warrens moved to NC from VA. We just haven't nailed things down yet.
