Looking at the 1861 Somerset census I find a Richard Warren aged 54 an omnibus driver, who was born in Drewsteignton, which is in Devon. His wife Harriet is aged 40 and there are five children whose ages range from 15 to 3. Harriet was born in Bideford, Devon and all 5 children in Wellington Somerset, I cannot pull up Richard in the 1841 census, either in Devon or Somerset but there is a Richard Warren aged 32 in the Gloucester 1841 census - his wife is named Mary with 6 children. I do not have easy access to the parish records for Drewsteignton but I know hat there was a Warren family there which possibly connects elsewhere in the west country.
