Eileen -- I'm aware that some (in fact most) of the Warrens on the list are not related to me. I constucted the list to identify all Warrens in the Pittsburgh region so I could identify family clusters from disparate records with an eye to eliminating those clearly not related to my line. Do you know if any of the Round Hill Church Warrens have had their yDNA tested? The ones that are from Elizabeth Township, Allegheny County, and Round Hill Church and the sons of Samuel and Annie and David and Eliza are English, not Irish, and descend from Frederick Warren and Mary Morgan. They are part of my family. That should help with a little of the confusion. Bob, My grandfather Warren (Clarence) was born probably in Parkersburg, WV in 1875 and ended up in Coraopolis (abt 10 miles west of Pittsburgh) by 1906 thru 1939 when he died. My grandparents were, in fact, actually living in Pittsburgh when they married in 1902. We have tracked this line of Warrens back to New London, CT in 1716 by way of OH, NY, VT, and MA. Probably English descent, but haven't been able to prove that yet. Just another Warren who ended up near Pittsburgh to add to the confusion. Michael -- Thanks for your note. I actually have a great uncle Clarence Warren, who was born in Derry (Westmoreland Co., PA) in 1891. I think Clarence was a popular name during that era.
