There is information to be found on Sampubco. There is information to be found on Family Search. You can order the death cert from NY, but first I would go to the county on USGENWEB project and see if you can find any other info. A less ( lot less) expensive way to get this certificate would be to go to Random Acts Of Genealogical Kindness, just follow the info on the site, there may be a volunteer from that county, where you think death occured and that person could get copy of the death certificate for you, just give that person all the dates and names you have .
