First I would go to PHONE BOOK from Akron and look for him, there is a site called White Pages.com, where u can type in his name and see what comes up. I would also contact his high school, maybe they have the address of alumni of the schools, they might have contact person for class reunions, now if his date of birth is correct this would be the 45 high school reunion, but please do contact the school. 2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: alan w Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.warren/4763.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Hello Lizzie, Sorry but I do not think that you are looking for one and the same person. Looking at the 1861 Somerset census I find a Richard Warren aged 54 an omnibus driver, who was born in Drewsteignton, which is in Devon. His wife Harriet is aged 40 and there are five children whose ages range from 15 to 3. Harriet was born in Bideford, Devon and all 5 children in Wellington Somerset, I cannot pull up Richard in the 1841 census, either in Devon or Somerset but there is a Richard Warren aged 32 in the Gloucester 1841 census - his wife is named Mary with 6 children. I do not have easy access to the parish records for Drewsteignton but I know hat there was a Warren family there which possibly connects elsewhere in the west country. Hope this helps, Alan John Warren Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Author: lizzielawton13 Surnames: Warren Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.warren/4763/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Hello everyone I dont know if anyone can help me. However, I have an ancestor that I am having a difficulty tracing, he is Richard Warren, born either 1807 or 1809, listed as born in Stanton Drew (on the 1861 census). He had moved to Bristol by 1841, and was a glass blower. Later generations also became glass blowers so it maybe that this is a family tradition that was passed down to Richard, as is the name as it is possible that his father was also Richard as his eldest son and then grandson are Richards. Can anyone help? thank you all for any help Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. 2. Susie Warren
    3. I am researching Warren's from County Carlow, Ireland some of whom descend from Henry Warren of Grangebegg, Co. Kildare who had an extensive family who settled in and around the county of Co Carlow. His wife was Elizabeth Eustace from the Eustace family from Co. Kildare. A number of his children married into very old established Irish families. One famous descendant was the Duke of Wellington through the Colley line. I believe that there is a strong possibility that a number of the Warren's in Carlow, Kildare, Wexford may descend from Henry Warren of Grangebegg. Our family tradition claims a descent from this family although I am yet to prove it beyond doubt. Some documented information suggests that this is correct. My husband is currently undertaking Warren DNA tests to try to establish some links to Wexford Warrens and others. Have you thought of participating in the Warren project as there is a special on at the moment which presents good value. Templeshambo is near the border of Carlow and Wexford. Best wishes Susie Warren <Message read. <i am a warren and am from the templeshambo parish aswel like you said your g-g-grand father was and i am trying to trace <my family history aswel i have only been able to get back as far as my great great grandfather all of which have lived in <templeshamboo parish . any information you might have would be a great help.
