To date very little is known about him: he was probably born 1580 at London, married Elizabeth _____. They had seven children, five daughters born at England and two sons born at Plymouth. He appears to have been a wealthy merchant of some standing. You can find further info on him at http://members.aol.com/calebj/mayflower.html.

This is ALL I ever found about Richard's origins: "Richard Warren joined the Pilgrims from London, and was the twelfth (of 100) who signed the Compact of Government on board while in Cape Cod Harbour." Anne

This may not be much but this is what it it.: References: The ancestrial lines of Richard WARREN from the Frankish Charlemange line, the Salian Frank, thte northman and Saxons: the Charlemangne-Italin line, the Capetian-german line: the Russian-Turkish line: The NOrman Dukes: the Flanders line: and the Scottish line: Above that it list the Roman-Norman line to Richard WARREN, the pilgram of the MAyflower. If this is something anyone is interested in, send a note and ill send all those names when i get off work tonight about 7. there is alot but if anyone is interested, i would be happy to type it out and send it. thanks Maggie On 11 Jul 2002 07:31:55 -0600 learry@dockpoint.net writes: > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/WZVBAIB/3117.1 > > Message Board Post: > > To my knowledge, no one has ever been able to assertain the parents > of Richard Warren or anything on him prior to his coming to America. > Learry L. I am also descended from a Robert Warren, appears to be from Tattnall County Georgia. I would estimate born around the mid 1850's, possibly even as late as the mid 1860's. He migrated to Florida, Columbia, Suwannee County area, and apparently married Julia Taylor. There daughter Julia Warren was born August of 1884, she is my GGg-mother. Is any of this familiar to anyone................Jimmy
