    1. [WARREN] Sabra Ann Warren McFee (born 1809)
    2. I am new to the group and am researching my great-great grandmother Sabra Ann Warren McFee. She was the daughter of James and Hannah Davis Warren. I have seen that Hannah's parents were Elizabeth and Uriah Davis and that Hannah was born in North Carolina. Sabra married Charles Bond McFee (aka McAfee) and lived in Buncombe, NC, later moving to East Tennessee. She is buried in Concord, Tennessee. Her daughter, Telitha McFee Cox was my great-grandmother. I have a picture of her which everyone comments on the fact that "she must be Cherokee" and this started my interest in finding out if she is. I have several branches of my family which were Cherokee and enjoy researching the Native American possibilites. Any info would be most appreciated. Thanks, Robin Darnell

    1. Re: [WARREN] 1880 Hunt Co TX census for John Acker Warren family
    2. Do you know if your Warren was related to a Jeramiah Warren in Athens, Henderson County, Texas. He or his father was County Clerk of Henderson County about 1850- 1870. I think he died in Athens about 1920. Sorry can't give you any more details. I'm in Colorado for a few weeks and didn't bring all 40 pounds of my genealogy data. Part of the Warren famuily moved to Brazoria County, Tex after the father shot and killed a neighbor who had attacked one of his his daughters although he was found not guilty. My maternal grandmother was Minnie Victoria Warren. .

    3. Hi Debby, My only link to the Warren name is a dau Warren from Grangebegg who apparently married Rev George WARBURTON of Parsonstown in Ireland about 1710-25. from whom I descend. They had a son the Rev Richard Warburton b. abt 1725 estimated There is a Henry Warren of Dublin who married Alice LOFTUS in 1597, dau of Adam Loftus, Archishop of Dublin. And other Warrens lived in Grangebegg Co. Kildare I suspect that this is also the line of the later 'Grangebegg Warrens' because of the religious/class links at the time, but I only know what I have found online recently. If you are interested, do some searches of these names on www.ancestry.com and the other dbases available. My hope is that someone who knows more of this family line will emerge. They seem to be prominent Irish families probably with English links. They may have had emigrant links to early North American WARRENs too. Best wishes Barrie Wright ADELAIDE South Australia. ----- Original Message ----- From: Debby6alex@aol.com To: bjwright@senet.com.au Sent: Friday, August 23, 2002 8:28 AM Subject: WARREN Hi, I reply to most WARREN messages on the list.
