Please send your suggestions for the list to me personally, KathleenBurnett@earthlink.net, not to the entire list. I will add your suggestions to my postings if the suggestion is one that we should consider. We have almost 350 members on this list. If even half send instructions as to how this list should be run or how a posting should look, we would soon be over run with off topic messages. I appreciate each of you and you willingness to do all that you do to make this list the success it is. Kathleen Burnett List Mom > > > >

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/WZVBAIB/1493.1 Message Board Post: i have been doing some research regarding finding an adopted brother and have come across many similarities between our stories. my fathers name was charles robert warren III. he had, as far as we know, 9 kids maybe more. in 1975 charles was with my mother in salem, oregon which is about a 15 minute drive to woodburn. in your query you had said that you thought your brother was adopted out to a bob jean warren. charles had a half sister named barbra jean warren. also your brothers name jack joseph warren is similar because charles had a brother named jack. as soon as you read this please email me msdre78@yahoo.com so we can talk further about these similarities and maybe be able to help eachother find who we are looking for. thank you jenell mattair
Hi, please send me you e-mail address and I will send you my Warren Line. If we match up I will be happy to exchange info. I have a lot of doc's on file. Sincerely, Brenda Peacock-Cohen
My John b1792 & Martha (unknown) Warren came from South Carolina to Heard Co GA about 1832. I believe they had sons Reuben, John and Sherrod. I am descended from son John & Sarah (unknown) Warren. They and their children were in Heard Co GA as late as 1860. By 1880 they have moved to Arkansas. I have many gaps in my information for this line. I would be glad to share information with anyone who has this line. I strongly suspect, but cannot prove, that John Sr is a son of Thomas Hackley & Hannah Cothen Warren. Janet Small
I am also looking for Warrens in Georgia. The record I have appears to say Tattnall County. Robert Warren, am guessing around 1860 or so.

This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Obituary Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/WZVBAIB/3269 Message Board Post: Albuquerque Journal - April 15, 1998 Mr. William E. Warren, age 91, died on Monday, April 13, 1998. Mr. Warren is survived by his step-son, Ronald E. Blood and his wife, Gloria; his step-grandchildren, Ronald D. Blood, Kathryn Gastian and her husband, Larry Gastian; and a step-great-grandson, Chance Gastian. Mr. Warren was born in St. Helena, California on December 24, 1906. He is survived in California by his nephew, Thomas Middelton and his wife, Carla; his niece, Azalene Whelchel; as well as a number of grandnieces and nephews. Mr. Warren worked as a creative metalsmith when the aircraft industry was young, and finished his long career working for NASA, directing the fashioning of one of a kind parts for experimental craft. His family and friends in New Mexico and California greatly miss him.
Would be grateful for any info on the Warren family of Gayhurst - Stoke Goldington - Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire (see chart below). Children & grandchidren married into the London Coles family (tailors). They moved to the Belvedere/Erith/Bexley area of Kent and many worked for Callender's Cables (BICC). John B. Warren b1857 moved to Kearny/Newark, NJ in 1884. He may have worked in The Callender Insulating & Waterproofing Company in East Newark or possibly the Kearny Wire Works Co. He claims to have sent the first message on the 1884 transatlantic telegraph cable to his wife in England. His death certificate states that when he died in Boston, MA in 1894, he was superintendent of a cable company. He and wife, Susan, also ran a grocery store at 108 Schuyler Ave, Kearny. His descendants are in NJ and CA. Patriarch Joseph Warren 1794 may have been married to Sarah Brown or Sarah Spakes of Newport Pagnell. Will be happy to share other info. Thanks.
