Can anyone tell me the relationship, if any, between the Valentine and Charles Warrens mentioned below? I believe this Charles is the son of Thomas Hackley and Hannah Cawthen Warren. But I am unsure about Valentine. Is this the same Valentine who is later found in Hall Co GA? Deed: 13 Feb 1806//09 Feb 1807 From Valentine Warren of Franklin Co GA to Charles Warren of Same..(220 1/2 Acres Drawn by Valentine Waren (1805 Lottery) Lot #231, 3rd Dist of Wilkerson Co. GA on Waters of Sandy Creek). Always happy to share Warren info with others working on these lines. Janet

Classification: Obituary Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/WZVBAIB/3307 Message Board Post: Albuquerque Journal - February 28, 2003 Autry L. Warren, MSgt. (ret.), passed February 22, 2003 at his Atlanta, GA home while recuperating from heart surgery. Born in Vanndale, Arkansas on July 31, 1931, he was the son of Minter and Queen Warren (both deceased). Autry enlisted in the United States Air Force at age 17 and served in the military for 23 distinguished years with overseas tours of duty in South Korea, Japan, France, and Thailand. Autry professed his faith in Christ at an early age. Growing up as the son of a sharecropper, he learned the importance of moral fortitude, hard work, and education. During his walk of life he was committed to God and his family. Autry met Nora Frances Collins of Wynne, Arkansas, and on January 23, 1955 the two were united in marriage. Prior to moving to Atlanta in 2001, Autry and Nora were longtime residents of Albuquerque, NM where he retired from the military in 1973. He earned an Associate Business Degree in Accounting in 1974. He also began a second career at Sandia Labo! ratories. Over the years Autry and Nora established deep and lasting ties with friends and neighbors. They attended Kirtland Air Force Base Chapel where Autry served as an usher. Together Autry and Nora raised four children, stressing education as one of the cornerstones of success. Autry was proud to see his children receive degrees from the University of New Mexico, Harvard University, the University of California at Berkeley, and Stanford University. He was perhaps prouder to see all of his children raise families of their own. Autry is survived by his wife of 48 years, Nora Frances Collins Warren; his four children and their spouses, Autry (Stephanie) L. Warren, Jr., Kenneth (Maria) Warren, Diann (Carl) McCants, and Lynnae (Iilonga) Thandiwe; and 11 grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Ms. Iola Sargent of Thibodeaux, LA; his brother, James (Carrie) Warren of Fountain, CO; his sister-in-law, Ann (Clifford) Grice of Richmond, CA; his sister-in-law, Anna Warren! Anderson of Wynne, AR, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Autry was a man of calm, good will, and generosity. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Services will be February 28, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at Cascade United Methodist Church, 3144 Cascade Road, SW, Atlanta, GA. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Alfonso Dawson Mortuary, Inc., 3000 Martin Luther King Drive, SW, Atlanta, GA.

We are not related to any of these families and I can only guess as to how these photos came to be at my parents home. I would like to pass these on to someone for whom they hold some significance. One of these photos is of a young woman, perhaps early 20's. The information on the back is: ADA LOUISE WARREN August 4, 1901 and it was taken at a studio in Providence, RI. Hi Listers, I've been watching the list for a while now and can see that most of you are researching the name in the US. To my knowledge none of my ancestors settled in the States, although my grandfather Sydney Warren worked for General Motors in Detroit for a while during the 1930's. I'm looking for the birth of his g'grandfather Nicholas Warren in Cornwall around 1795 -- my brick wall. Known details are: Nicholas m. Catherine Roberts 18 Feb 1821 at Perranarworthal, Cornwall. Children -- Elizabeth, b 1822. Mary, b 1825. Thomas, b 1826. Eliza Jane, b 1832. Ellen, b 1835. Nicholas, b 1838. Catherine, b 1840. My g'g' grandfather Hannibal, b 1834, m Elizabeth Ann Dower, 9 Apr 1858. All these events at Perranarworthal, Cornwall. Hannibal's son, Hannibal Thomas b 1860, m Mary Jane Bray 1 Nov 1885 at Redruth, Cornwall. Their only child was my grandfather Sydney, b 1886, m Emily Kemp of Stithians, Cornwall on 8 Nov 1913. Does anyone connect with this family? If so either reply to the list or e-mail me at Genialjohn@aol.com for more info. John Warren, Portsmouth, UK.

To the best of my knowledge there is no Levi Warrne proved into this lineage although this is possible. I am a descendent of Ebeneezer Warren, b. circa 1830 (don't have the info at hand right now). There can be several 'Warren Sites' on MyFamily.com each with a different or several or all lineages with a surname. Do you know of others? I'd enjoy being involved in Sites with all 8 of my Great-Grandparents Surnames. Perhaps I'll be able to garner MyFamily membership on Sites for all 16 of my Great-Great-Grandparents Surnames eventually. Do you know of other MyFamily Sites I might apply to? Regards, Fred
I have some (not a huge amount) information on this family, if you'd like to have it.
