Seeking parents and siblings of William Warren of NC: William Warren was born between 1753-1757 possibly in North Carolina. He entered RW on 11 May 1776 in Martin Co, NC. Married Jane Rowe of Beaufort Co, NC around 1782. Before 1790, he moved to Beaufort Co, NC where he died intestate sometime before Sep 1824. While living in Martin Co, NC, he had a Robert Warren witness deeds and land grants. No relationship between Robert Warren and William Warren has been found. My oldest found Warren is George Albert Warren, born August of 1844. Unsure of his birth place... it is either Indiana or N.C. DOD is September 17, 1917. My oldest Warren would be my 3rd great grand father Jesse Warren Born ? about 1775 he showes up in Delaware County New York in early 1800's. He was in Stamford and Bolivia area. He married Dorcas Monroe and had 11 children. Horace was one of the sons her married Clarissa Fowler and they had 9 children Charles was one of them he marred Elizabeth Lindsey and had 7 children. WARREN, Charles A. . . . At age 30 years, he is a married man born in Delaware County, he is included in family #139 as head of household and is a laborer. He entered military service on August 14, 1862 in the 144th NYV as a Private. He was discharged after 1 years service for disability. He re-enlisted August 22, 1864 for 1 year and is a Private in the 144th NYV with 3 months unexpired service. Was Wounded at battle of Honey Hill SC Augustus (AKA Horace) was one of the children He married Electa Mae Ingraham and had 8 children. They stayed in between Delaware co. and Sullivan Co. My oldest Warren is Mary Warren who was the first wife of my g-grandfather John Heeter. Mary died Sept 27,1872 in Lyme Township,Huron County,Ohio. I believe her parents to be John and Eleaner Warren,both age 45 and born in England as reflected in the 1850 census for Lyme Township,Huron County,Ohio. I have not been able to find anymore information on Mary,such as were she is buried. My oldest Warren is Reverend Russell M Warren, born 1833 Ransomville NY. I think his father's name was Stephen Warren & mother Lydia Russell (not sure). The mother died 6 weeks after giving birth. Russell moved to Niagra Falls until about age 20, married Sarah Nichols in 1855, then became a Methodist Episcopal minister. He was an original founder of the Chautauqua Institution in 1878 and he served at many ME Churches in the Chautauqua NY, Warren & Erie PA, and NE Ohio areas. He died in 1911 & buried in Fredonia NY. Had 8 children. Need info on his parentage and beyond. It is written that he was "from the Warrens of Massachusetts" and family story has it that he was a descendant of the famous Dr Joseph Warren of Rev War but have no link to that.

My oldest known WARREN is JOHN, who came from England in about 1680 to settle in Oneanickon N.J. (Southwest of Sykesville, N.J.). His married his first wife Joan Sykes in 1689.
