Five children were born in OH after which the family moved to the Albia, Monroe, IA area and six more children joined the family. Both parents are named in deeds around Albia thru 1872. An 1875 agriculture census shows only GGrandpa and son Owen Mickel and my future grandmother Margaret Ellen "Ella". The Crawfords are also shown in this census and I have the marraige liscense for Jedidiah Crawford and Margaret Ellen. They had two living sons, Dad born in WI 1901, a move to Canada and then into OR. Grandmother died in 1924. At least one of the sons [George or Nathaniel] were in the Civil War. 2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Warren,Huther(Heeter) Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/WZVBAIB/2672.1.1 Message Board Post: Tom, I was wondering if you had any information regarding a Mary Warren from Huron County,Ohio. My g-grandfather John Heeter(Huther) married Mary Warren February 4.1867 in Monroeville,Huron County ,Ohio. From this marriage they had three children and Mary died September 27,1872 in Lyme Township,Huron County,Ohio, age 26, during childbirth. I believe Mary's parents to be John and Eleaner Warren that are listed in the 1850 census for Lyme Township,Huron County,Ohio. This census lists John and Eleaner at age 45 and born in England. It also lists sons Thomas, age 10 and John age 6 both born in England. It also lists Mary age 4,born in Ohio and James,7 months born in Ohio. Other than the marriage certificate and death record of Mary, I have not been able to find any more information on these Warrens. It's possible that they moved from Ohio to another state. I do know that a brother and sister of my g-grandfather John Heeter moved to Ionia county ,Michigan around 1865. If you have any knowledge of these Warrens,I would appreciate a reply. Leo Mills
