I have been stuck on Robert Warren, my great, great, great grandfather for years at this point. When I saw that you had information on his parents it was such a relief! I had begun to think that I would never find his parents. If you don't mind me asking, where did you find this information on Robert being the son of Notley Rueben Warren? I have found a number of references to Notley in others research and his children, but none reference a son named Robert. I have a great uncle that wrote out much of the genealogy history of my family for me in a letter years ago, and he remembered that his Great grandfather had told him about Robert being born in South Carolina, but I could never find any proof. This would seem to be supported by your information though. Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks, Tommy

Warren, b. 12 jan 1839, was a son of Nelson Alexander Warren and Lucinda Robertson, his 1st wife. Nelson was married 3 times and had 21 children. Fredrick married Anna M. ? born in 1949, and I can find nothing more. Nelson is my Great Grandfather I have traced the family tree to a David Warren out of New Jersey. He had a son named David who was Nelson's father along with two brothers names Asa and David Hodson Warren. They also had many children, mostly boys. Let me know if this info is helpful. Ron Burgess
