Yes, thank you, I had that census record, plus I do have a couple others for Thomas Warren. I do know my Thomas Warren had a brother named "W. H. Warren" -- this name was mentioned in Thomas Warren's pension records. He's the only sibling I can positively identify for my Thomas Warren. I'm thinking that the "W.H." possibly stood for William Henry Warren who was born February 19, 1835 in Burkesville, Cumberland Co., KY. The age listed in the pension records for W.H. is close enough it could be the February date known to be for William Henry Warren. That's about the only lead I have that can go to trying to identify the parents of Thomas Warren. Mae All I can truthfully tell you is there was not that many Warren coming into KENTUCKY from Massachusetts during that time other than a LEVI legg Warren who is buried in LOUIWFILLe, ky. She married Isaac Mitchell POOL in 1859 in Neshoba Co., Mississippi. The 1900 U.S. Census shows her niece, my g-grandmother, Perlie WARREN b Oct 1888 as living in the household. Pearl WARREN was raised by an aunt and uncle, apparently Nancy WARREN and Isaac Mitchell POOL, after her parents died around 1890. I am searching for information that may lead to the identity of the parents of Pearl WARREN. Pearl WARREN married the grandson of Isaac Mitchell and Pearl WARREN POOL, William Benjamin POOLE.

In the Abstracts of the Revolutionary War Pension Files: William Warren of the Virginia Line (S11838) states he was born in Orange Co., Va and when he was very young, his father died. He then lived with his brother Robert Warren in Culpeper Co., Va until his brother Robert Warren returned from the Revolutionary War and died. He then stated he had no family so he went to Georgia and later moved to Pendleton Co., SC where he married Rebecca Canna and they moved to Christian Co., Kentucky where he applied 19 Nov 1832 at age 70 for a pension. At the time of his application, he was living with Hedgeman Warren. In the nuncupative will of William Warren in Christian Co., Kentucky, he gives everything he has to "my grandson Hedgeman Warren." Jerry, I have a brick wall that I have not been able to even make a dent in and hope you can help. My 2nd great grandparents were Jim Warren and Emma/ Emeline Bradshaw. I think both were born in Ohio.. about 1835... Their daughter Anna Eliza was b. in Columbus, OH in `1858.. and she married William Leander Anthis in Knox Co. Indiana in March 1878... And in 1880 her brother is living with her... and there is no sign of her parents.. they just disappeared.. Do you happen to have any info on this particular Warren? His name may have been George James.. But the family always called him Jim.... so I really don't know. Any help or clues, at all will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, D. Henson

RFobin, Go to rootsweb.com. Click on family trees. Then go to the 2nd item which is database. Type in kbt5579 and my file will come up. You then have the alphabet listed. Go to the w's and high light it. Then all the names I have in w's will come up. Then highlight Warren and they will come up. It will tell you how many I have and they will be in alphabetical order.
