Hi, Can anyone help me with the family of Peter WARREN, age 83 on the Andes, Delaware Co., NY 1860 census, ancestry.com image 71? His wife Mary is 78, and daughter Lydia is 32 and I believe single. Living also in the household is my gggrandmother Hannah L(oretta) Slack TOMPKINS, age 26, and her two children Loran, 4, and Lora, 2. I found Hannah Loretta SLACK in Peter's household also in the 1850 census. I believe she was their granddaughter and may have lived with the grandparents. I have a sneaking suspicion that her SLACK family may have gone to Iowa and she stayed in NY. Does anyone know if one of Peter WARREN's other daughters married a SLACK? Thanks, Judy

Hi all, Would any of you happen to have a spare Joshua WARREN hanging around in your roots? I have one, but he only appeared at his marriage to Jane Orcutt in 1725, West Bridgewater, MA. They had six children - Ebenezer, Hannah, Ezra (my line), Mary, Sarah, and Joshua, Jr. I have birthdates, marriages and deaths for these children but have not been able to find parents or a birth date for Joshua. He continues to be my brick wall. IF he followed any kind of naming pattern for his children, then his father's name could be Ebenezer; I haven't had any luck following that line either. I recently acquired a copy of Joshua's will hoping that there might be some mention of family other than his children, but that was not the case. I would love to hear from anyone who might have suggestions as to places that I might look, as I think I've run out of ideas. Thank you for any help you can give me. June

Parents were Adriel and Lese Warren. Family in Herkimer, Fairfield, New York in 1800 census. Census shows two daughters under 16 and two younger daughters under 10. Their youngest child was born in 1803 in Cazenovia, NY and according to this child's son...the Warren family lived in Onondaga, NY until around 1820 so most likely the sisters met and married husbands in New York. I have no clues whatsoever as to the daughter's names or any other information than this. Hoping someone has a female Warren that married into the family. Just a brief look shows Deborah as the base born daughter of Sarah, born in 1807 and baptised 14/06/1807 A marriage date is shown as 01/09/1827 Not so sure about her having 10 children but certainly the Hatchers in general seem to have had quite a few but different wives. Head, 49, Farmer, KY/KY/KY Sarah E., Wife, 35, Keeping House, MS/TN/MS Alberta, Dau., 13, At Home, MS/KY/MS James M., Son, 10, At Home, MS/KY/MS Willie B., Dau., 8, At Home, MS/KY/MS Alma T., Dau., 5, At Home, MS/KY/MS Elizabeth A., Dau., 1, At Home, MS/KY/MS Although this Willie is a bit young to have been married by 1887, marriages occurred early in those days.
