    3. Norma - I must be doing something wrong. I cannot find any reference on Ancestry.com that indicates Emily's middle name is Jane. I have tried many combinations which yield Emily J. 3. Norma - I don't believe Emily is Thomas' sister. According to the Marriage Certificate of Emily Warren and William Floyd, Emily (who was 15) listed her parents as "THOS. E. and MARY E. 3. Norma: I'm so confused. My John Warren (b. 1824 d. Aft 1854) married Emily Mister (b. 1828 d. Aft. 1954) on Feb 15, 1849 in Northampton Co., VA. Sometime ago you gave me information about the parents of (my) John Warren, but the dates do not match. John Warren is my 3rd great. He and Emily had Thomas E. Warren (my 2nd great) b. 1854 d. 1927 in Cape Charles, VA., m. Oct 01, 1874 in Northampton Co., VA. to Mary Elizabeth Copes. They had a daughter (my great grandmother) Emily J. Warren b. Aug 7, 1877 in Northampton Co., VA. d. records indicate Aft. 1892 -- but, Emily married William Floyd Dec 26, 1870 in Northampton Co., VA. and they had my grandmother, Evelyn Holland Floyd, Jul 4, 1902. I am sorry to ramble on, but I'm hoping this information may help in connecting the John Warren and sons. Thank you for helping a newbee like myself. Got any pointers on how not to get soooo confused? Their son John Warren and Mary Ann Lanham married in Washington Co., KY in 28 Oct. 1825. They then moved to Daviess Co., KY."
