WARREN. I haven't found any information that would lead me to believe that he was a son of the Hugh WARREN, Jr bn 5 Jan 1764 in VA and died 17 Jul 1845. I have Hugh WARREN, Jr married to Elizabeth ? Warren.bn abt 1771 in NC and died in Jan 1852 in KY. I see the marriage of Hugh WARREN to Jane EATHINGTON (Etherton, I assume) and have it marked to order the record, but don't think I ever have. Hugh WARREN, born 5 Jan 1764 would have been 69 in 1833. I have not considered this as the marriage of Hugh WARREN, Jr because his wife Elizabeth lived until 1852. I also note that a Jane ETHERTON md Ezekiel P. DAVIS 28 Jun 1843 in Green County. Ezekiel and Jane are listed in the 1850 GC census with children, John DAVIS age 14 and Ara DAVIS age 10-their dob preceed the marriage so Jane ETHERTON was probably married before and maybe to the above Hugh WARREN. I have Nathan WARREN who married Lydia SKAGGS as a son of Hugh WARREN, Jr. and yes the fact that he was married the same day at Hugh WARREN and Jane EATHINGTON must have some significance. Nancy A. Despain was some gal! Married John D. WARREN 22 May 1859*. Married Asa JOHNSON 6 Sep1865 Married John T. LEE 2 Nov 1882 *My notes say that she was 17, divorced and a widow but I haven't found an earliermarriage record for her. Thank's for writing and for the pension excerpts-they started me thinking about Hugh WARREN again. Bill Smith Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Lynne -- My grandmother lived at 60 T St., S.E., Washington, DC and her grandmother was Emily Warren. I have had difficulty tracing the WARREN side. I wonder if Charles Warren is perhaps Emily's brother? Of maybe related to her father Thomas E. Warren? If it is possible to scan or copy the picture and send it to me I would really appreciate it. I have a feeling Charles K. Warren is somehow related because of the "T" Street addresses.
