I'm trying to confirm if there was an Elisha Clark who fought in the War of 1812 at the Battle of Plattsburgh, which took place in Sep 1814. He was definitely living in Tinmouth, VT, in 1808 and in Peru, Cliinton County, NY in 1815. There is also an Elisha Clark's from Halifax, VT but that is the wrong Elisha Clark. Does anyone have any info. on him or perhaps can suggest where I should look further to verify his involvement in this battle. He supposedly had a brother who also participate in this battle whose name was either Robert or Julius. Thank you very much. Carol White
