Am searching for information on John Toler/Tolar. I suspect he fought in the War of 1812 but have no proof of this. He would have either been in North Carolina or Tennessee when the war started. He or his widow Mary L. Toler filed for a pension in Kansas in the late 1800's. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Christine.
