Sorry I do not see that name in the surname index in the book nor the all name index published by the Wood County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society. Looked through the names around the one you are searching for to see anyone with the first name of Hugh - no luck. I have been in contact with the Ohio Historical Society in Columbus who have many unpublished documents and some regimental rosters from the War of 1812. They were planning on microfilming them, but that has been put off due to the cash flow problems of the State of Ohio (the politicians want the money for other purposes). These were not included in the rosters published in 1916.
