Fletcher -- KY Seeking help re my gr-gr-gr-grf George W. Fletcher (1796-1860). He served some time with KY Militia units during the War of 1812. One relative suggests (but no documentation) that he served with 3 different units; another says he only served with a "KY Detachment of Spies". I'd greatly appreciate your help and advice in determining which specific unit(s) he served with and, then, what engagements his unit(s) participated in. Thanks for your valuable time.
