    3. Another question: The Bounty Land Warrants and the Pension files are consolidated for the Revolutionary War, and you get both when you request NARA pension info on an individual.     3. If a soldier or his widow got a pension, usually the bounty land files are combined with the pension. But this should never prevent a person from looking for an "unindexed" bounty land file. They are filed by soldiers name and unit. There are other land office files outside of the pension which would also be available on microfilm (such as warrants) or survey reports (in RG49). C.
