Hello: My g-ggrandfather, William Mercer, enlisted at Morgantown, (W)VA on 9/1/1812 for 18 months and was supposedly discharged at Burlington, VT on 3/1/1814. Would there be any record of his discharge anyplace - I have tried NARA. Thanks. John
