I recently learned that my ancestor John Toler's commander was Captain William White. Does anyone know anything about the Tennessee company this person would have been with? Would like to know some background on any campaigns,etc. Also, if anyone knows anything about John Toler (b. abt. 1796 in NC m. 1821 n Williamson County, TN d. 1872, Johnson County, KS) I would be very happy!
