    3. Denise - Yes, I just received the pension papers for my ancestor Sherman R. Redfield who was from Fitzwilliam, NH, and was stationed for 73 days near Portsmouth, NH. The records stated that he received land warrant but that's all it said. I have no idea if he actually received land or not or perhaps I don't understand what land warrant means. This was a widow's pension application. HE had already died. What can I help you with?
