In a personal record, a distant relative of mine remembered when she was a little girl in Mississippi that her two brothers, by the name of Overaker or Overacre, "marched off to the War of 1812". I should appreciate a lookup by Bill Allen in his "War of 1812, Historic Records, Generations Grande Suite CD" for any service people from Mississippi, by that name, in the War of 1812. If anyone else has info on these men, I should appreciate hearing from you. Sincerely, Doug Burke doug.burke3@verizon.net.
