    3. Roma, I do not have Fergusons as one of my lines, but I checked Ancestry.com. Here is what they had (below) for the name David Ferguson. Neither is in PA, but one is in OH. I do not know if one of these is yours. You may know. If one of these is not yours, check Ancestry.com occasionally, as they add records all the time. Also, it couldn't hurt to check if City Hall, the cemetery maintainer, or a local monument works was in business or passed down to another owner or family member. Maybe someone on the list who has sent for records from NARA could tell you if NARA could take the information that you have, without the regiment and state, and be able to find your David Ferguson. You can order the right form from NARA via e-mail.
