Gary, a Private Joseph Vansant served in Captain Jeremiah's Company in Lt. Colonel John Prior's New York Militia Regiment. (Prior's) He received a pension SC-7767 and also his widow Elizabeth under WC-10012. Joseph Vansant's CMSR # is 215-1808. Hope this is him as there are a couple of them in New York Regiments, which actually could be the same person.
